• Freelance photographer, December 2001 - Present. Member of OnAsia Images photo agency (formerly AsiaWorks Photos), of Bangkok.
• Chief photographer, The News-Review (Roseburg, OR), December 1999 - December 2001. Assigned, edited and scheduled three photographers and developed story ideas. Worked closely with the city editor to direct the paper’s news coverage.
• Freelance photographer, January 1998 - December 1999. First based in Phnom Penh and later in the States, chased news and features across Southeast Asia and the Western U.S. for AFP, The New York Times, South China Morning Post and others.
• Photographer, The News-Review, January 1996-December 1997. One of three staff photographers on the paper awarded first place, Best Use of Photos in the 1996 NPPA/University of Missouri Photos of the Year competition.
• Photographer, The News-Record (Gillette, WY), January 1994-December 1995. Sole photographer at a 7,000-circulation daily paper, responsible for shooting, processing and editing all photos at the paper.
• Associated Press stringer and freelance photographer (San Francisco), September 1993-January 1994. Covered a wide variety of assignments for the bureau, from sports to news to portraits.
